TVSync — Support
Need help? Write to tvsync26@gmail.com. Messages are answered within two working days. Please say which iPhone and which television you are using — it saves a round trip.
What TVSync needs to work
- An iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
- A television that accepts commands over the network, connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone.
- Permission for TVSync to use the local network. iOS asks the first time; if you refused, turn it back on in Settings ▸ TVSync ▸ Local Network.
No extra hardware, no cables and no account are needed.
Which televisions work
TVSync works with LG (webOS), Samsung, Sony and Roku televisions, all four tested on real sets. Televisions from other manufacturers are not supported yet.
You can try every feature before connecting anything: the app includes a demo TV that responds like a real one.
If your television is not found, write to us with the brand and model. That is how the list grows.
My television doesn't appear
- Check that the television is on, not in standby.
- Check that the iPhone and the television are on the same network. Many homes have two: one 2.4 GHz and one 5 GHz. They must match, or the router must have them bridged.
- Make sure the local network permission is granted (Settings ▸ TVSync ▸ Local Network).
- On LG sets, a pairing prompt appears on the television the first time. Accept it with the physical remote.
- If it still fails, turn the television off at the wall for ten seconds and search again.
The subscription
TVSync is a paid app: the subscription unlocks the whole remote. There is a monthly plan with a 3-day free trial and an annual plan.
To see, change or cancel your subscription: open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Everything is managed there by Apple — cancelling from that screen stops the renewal.
To restore a purchase on a new iPhone, or after reinstalling: open TVSync and tap Restore on the subscription screen. Use the same Apple Account that bought it.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Siri
You have to say the app's name. "Hey Siri, turn the volume up in TVSync" works; "turn the volume down" alone does not, because iPhone assumes you mean its own volume.
Your data
TVSync collects nothing. What it remembers — your televisions, the room name, your preferences — stays on your iPhone and disappears when you delete the app. Full detail in the privacy policy.
Terms
Use of the app is governed by Apple's standard licence agreement: Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
TVSync — Soporte
¿Necesitas ayuda?
No aparece mi televisor
Tus datos
TVSync no recoge nada.
